Great food. Great price. Biryani and pakora are great. Interestingly, the staff never passes the machine to add tip on it..they actually make you pay what you owe and dont make you guilt trip on how much tip to pay. Large portions. Value for money and Great taste

I recently visited Biryaniwalla and was blown away by the quality of the food! The rice in the biryani was perfectly cooked—fragrant, fluffy, and infused with rich spices. The chicken was tender and packed with flavor, with just the right amount of heat. To top it off, the gulab jamun was soft, warm, and soaked in delicious syrup—absolutely the best way to end the meal! Great service, clean ambiance, and authentic taste. Highly recommended for biryani lovers!

The jackfruit biryani was unexpectedly amazing! It was so good and well-flavoured I had to double-check it wasn't mutton before serving it to the vegetarians in our group. I hope the quality will be maintained for this unique menu option, we look forward to having it again The saag paneer here is more homogenously creamy than most restaurants. In general, I find the preparation of dishes (other than biryani) isn't necessarily exactly as you'd expect but it's always tasty, the serving sizes are good, and we're always happy after the meal As a disclaimer for online ordering: there's almost always one thing that's unavailable from our order with no way to tell beforehand, but the staff are quick to call and helpful in suggesting replacements for anything missing!

We ordered the ghee roast chicken biryani bucket biryani, one of the best biryani in Durham. It's more than enough for 3 people, Very good in quality and quantity.

Definitely one of the best places I’ve been to. I’ve tried the biriyani and loved it, it’s a small take out place. Compared to other places it’s a little cheaper, quality and taste is great and portions are good. They do catering and if you’re having a party then this place would work out economical. Can’t wait to go back.

A friend brought a tray of chicken biryani to a BBQ we hosted a couple of weeks ago, and it disappeared within minutes! We enjoyed it so much, we decided to order a small tray for dinner tonight with my parents. My mom is gluten intolerant, and Biryaniwalla was incredibly helpful, they let us know that the lamb biryani is gluten-free, though the chicken is not due to the cooking method. We absolutely loved our meal. The flavours were rich, the portion was generous, and everything was perfectly cooked. This place is a hidden gem in Whitby and definitely a new go-to for when my parents visit, or anytime we’re craving biryani!

I ordered Ghee roast kaju chicken biryani and obviously being a south indian dish means spicy, I told them to make it less spicy and they tried their best to keep it mild! Perfect balance and perfect taste. Great quantity if we compare to other places and price is also genuine! I must recommend to try their biryani once

As always, the food was delicious. I've taken out here numerous times, and they've never once disappointed me. Their chicken joint appetizer is my go-to, with generous portions of cashews and an irresistible masala. While wait times can sometimes be a bit longer and online orders occasionally get missed, the staff is consistently great. A special kudos to the amazing girl at the counter who handled a difficult customer with grace under pressure. Don't be swayed by negative reviews; they likely come from people with ulterior motives. Will keep visiting here again. I was present and was a witness while the other person named rajaprabhu yelled at the staff and attempted to go into the kitchen. The owner was very polite on the call. I heard everything. Don't deceive by wasteful reviews by cheap people who want to get free food.
